We know almost every year the Miss Universe competition will gives away best in national costume award for the lucky contestant which her costume had show the most cultural,exotic,creative and beautiful national costume in the competition on that year. Colombia had receive this honourable award six times after this award had had been given away for the first time 1962 which make this country the leading country to win this award.

Colombia had won this award in 1968,1985,1990,1991,1997 and 2002.

The Miss Tourism International pageant which is held only in new years eve is the pageantry which promoting the host nation's tourism industry. This pageant which was introduced by Datuk Danny Ooi,has set its mark in more than 76 countries. Hosting in Malaysia,it helps to promote this beautiful nation colourful and wonderful culture,history and tradition to the rest of the world. 1st Supermodel of Asia Pacific winner is INDONESIA!!..

33 supermodels from 20 asia pacific country had participated in the region first international supermodel competition. This competition had been held in Thailand from 12 to 21 September. The final round which had been held in Royal Orchid Sheraton in Bangkok on the 19th September.

They also managed to become one of the semifinalist 11 times in a row without fail since 1992 until 2002.
